White Background For Video

While some of the videos I shoot have been in natural settings, like my living room or outside, there are some advantages to having an artificial set-up like a studio. The chief benefit is that you have no setting up to do. You can control the background and the lighting, and shut the door, so members of your family or work colleagues don’t disturb you.I quite like a clean white background, it was very popular after Apple used it for their product videos. It is simple and has the viewer focus purely on the subject with no distractions.

I used to use a pop-up screen as a background for my videos. It is green on one side, and white on the other.My husband has purchased a motorized projector screen and it has turned out to be quite convenient. I can now use my green screen and when I want to use a white background I can simply lower the projector screen, without having to turn my pop-up screen around.
